I meant to put these together before the end of the year, but the last few weeks have been majorly hectic. But here it is, 2015 stats for my 33% Resolution!
In 2014, I wrote 67% white males and 56% m/m. My goals for 2015 were a) write 33% or less white males and b) write 33% or less m/m. After my April update, I decided to ignore any fanworks other than fic and simplify my stat collection a little bc it was too hard to categorize/organize. This collection of stats is based on the 150 fics I wrote covering 150 main characters and 154 relationship tags.

White males: 83 (55%)
White females: 34 (23%)
Men of color: 11 (7%)
Women of color: 16 (11%)
Ambiguous males: 3 (2%)

Conclusion
While the 2015 numbers were better than 2014ā²s, I didnāt make either of my goals. I did notice while I was putting the stats together that there were a lot of interracial ships where I wrote from the white characters POV (36% of fics were white and m/m, which is actually not far from the combined goal, so yay?). That is definitely something Iāll want to keep an eye on in 2016 bc I know I can do better. As far as ships go, I also want to work on doing more f/f since it was the least changed from 2014 to 2015.
I think one of my major pitfalls overall was lack of planning. I tended to sign up for whatever fic exchange caught my eye and my list of potential fics was forgotten almost as soon as it was made. Hopefully if I put in a little more effort to planning and keeping up with that sort of thing, I can improve even more. So hereās to doing better in 2016!
(Unrelated to the challenge, but interesting to me, were ratings. Out of 150 fics, 117 (78%) were gen, 22 (15%) were teen, 7 (5%) were mature, and 4 (3%) were explicit. I always thought I wrote a fair bit of porn, but apparently not!)
