project proposal.
we have been tasked to create a short documentary for the salt scape project to show whats been going on and whats left to accomplish with the 3yr SaltScape project
the constraints are that it has to be a documentary style video, for an online format, to last, really, no longer than 2 minutes.
from this then, my proposal takes these points into consideration, and so:
drawing the video out a little bit longer, to get more information in
multiple interviewees so to
lots of cutaways to occupy the mind, visually
use of archive footage, and pictures to show the passage of time

Elves of Rivendell Production schedule. re-make.
Working to a brief.
the structure: the contract being negotiated, is one for an interview that is interesting, and inviting. there aren’t really any negotiations, what with it being a simple interview to show the impact the SaltS cape project has had within the community. With it being a general public release, then it would be assumed that its better to have it have both formal aspects, as its a professional distribution, but its to invite the public, so needs to be interesting, and would make sense to have a more informal and outgoing tone. when it comes to cooperative, it is, and isnt. while we’re working with Mako media, and Salt Scape, we’re working by ourselves, without much outside interference, just a few necessary inclusions. such as non negotiable questions.
