“why do you blog”

hello, hello! today is my last!! I can’t believe it! i’ve actually finished a whole month!! provided i did fail to post consecutively, but i finished it! i’m so proud of myself!

this just means that i can do whatever i set my mind to! i just need a lot of determination.

now, to answer the final question.

i blog because i feel like i can express my ideas here more. like tumblr is the platform where we can be who we are, and show the world what we can think of without sounding like a freak, since people on here are freaks anyways. it feels like a virtual home, though i don’t know almost anyone on here. i feel like being weird means you fit right in, and to me, that’s more than i could ask for on the internet.

i also blog because i write long ass prose sometimes, and i don’t want to post it on facebook where everyone sees, or on instagram, cause my parents follow me on there and i can’t really be as artistic when i know that they can see my work. i feel like their scrutiny is keeping me from my freedom of expression.

lastly, i blog because i was curious about tumblr and i’m trying to be more social, and to fight anxiety at the same time.

so yeah, those are the reasons i blog.
