I live in Montana where the winter can get to -33 degrees, and the AKM was made for those kinds of extreme conditions. The AKM is easy to maintain and field strip and can easily hit 18” targets at 300m if you do your part. I have installed rear tritium night sights, an RPK stock, CMR 1-4x24 scope, SRVV brake and a Bakelite 30rd magazine."
