BIG anchorsā¦.
NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD, VIRGINIA (October 22, 2020) --Ā Master-at-ArmsĀ (law enforcement) 1st Class Brian Dunne, USN (left) is reenlisted for a few more years of Naval service by LTJG Asa Calloway, USN, on the starboard anchor of United States Navy nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75).
Operational conditions permitting, Sailors are allowed to pick theirĀ āspotā for traditional reenlistment ceremonies. Normally, the location maintains a special meaning or significance for the Sailor extending his or her contract with the Navy.

If I am honest, if I am truthful with myself, I understand I have so much work to do in order to become the person I believe I was born to be. I can be more, and so I will start trying harder today. This is Typewriter Series #3066 seed line. Iām posting the full poems and extras on my newsletter, and the link is in the bio tree. Please, come sign up. Hang out. Join us. . Iām to be gentle and curious, patient despite reasons to be hasty, Iām to be calm in the face of panic. Iām to be kindness, a wave of compassion that consumes and soaks all in its path. Iām to taste of tenderness to make this life a poem written in footsteps and hands held out for the holding, Iām to be new, or unearth the old like excavation and hold it to the sun as dust falls from it like incense smoke and discovery. -Tyler Knott Gregson- (at Lower Largo Beach) https://www.instagram.com/p/CHjVZw1lRdE/?igshid=y06a5ehkwzh5
