#30 something problems

Last night I went on a date with a guy who thought it was acceptable to give up in life because he was in his thirties. He seemed quiet and reserved when I was talking to him online, but when we met he might as well be walking with a can and yelling at kids. It didn’t help that he had an old man voice… you know the deep raspy voice with cracks in it. He hated his job. He didn’t care for anything that involved noisy areas and energetic people… I just about lost it. I put on my profile the I wanted someone with a lot of energy for a reason. I wanted to avoid meeting people that believed because they were a certain age, the world would stop.

Don’t get me wrong, I like guys in the thirties. The have a maturity level that only comes from experience, most of them know what they want in life. There is less drama and a bit more class. However, I can’t stand anyone that feels like the should give up or slow down. There is too much living to do!! 

Yeah, I won’t be calling him for a second date…
