For "Give my muse an item and see how they react!" ///for a different verse than the knight/royalty au, but similar premise! I'll give you a few of these for various versions of Bruce for you to pick from. =) /// A tiny broken device is thrown in Bruce's direction from a rooftop slightly more elevated than the one he currently occupied. It lands at his feet, hard to make out at first, but clearly its one of his own little bugs. " Did you think I wouldn't notice it? " There seems to be no body to this voice but it originates from the same direction the device came from.
Give my muse an item and see how they react!
🦇—-;; "I was confirming a theory." Bruce says by way of explanation. Really, the Bat wouldn't have bothered with him at all if he didn't have reasonably suspicion to do so. Gotham had far bigger issues to deal with than some kid. Really, he's only a little surprised his little tracker had been found, but only a little. He'd been counting on that even, but what surprised him was how long it took, though not that long at all.
He glances in the direction the voice, and the device had come from, detective vision making it a little easier to spot him, even if his suit cloaks him to what else the cowl can do. It didn't matter, the point was he darkness didn't hide him from Bruce's eyes, at least with the aid he got from the batcomputer. He tilts his head slightly. "Did you think I wouldn't try anything, or did you think I'd just let you walk away without trying to figure you out?" Bruce was a detective at heart, and the other was a mystery he wanted to solve. Therefore the bug was his way of doing it remotely, without interfering too much with the younger man.
"It'd be foolish if you thought I wouldn't." He says with a slight shrug after a moment, moving now to lean down and pick the device up. Inspecting it briefly, if only to check if it's damaged.
