Svartbag (Larus marinus), 2K
En ung svartbag fra sidste sommer har formået at jage alle konkurrenterne væk og har nu kadaveret af en småplettet rødhaj (Scyliorhinus canicula) helt for sig selv.
Fuglen var så flink at træde lidt tilbage, så der kunne tages et billede fisken, uden forstyrrende mågefødder i rammen. Men den vendte straks tilbage for at nyde det fine fund.
Great Black-backed Gull (Larus marinus), 2cy
A young Great Black-backed Gull from last summer has managed to chase away all competitors and now has the carcas of a Small-spotted Catshark (Scyliorhinus canicula) all to itself.
The bird was very accomodating and stepped back for a bit so a gull feet-free picture of the fish could be taken. But it soon returned to feast on its find.
