while i'm ordinarily a huge proponent of adding alt text to images and making things as accessible as possible and i do so when i make illustrations, i have no idea how to properly convey the contents of full comic pages in succinct text form, so i've left alt text off my pages here entirely. i apologize that my work has such a glaring flaw - if anyone has any tips or examples of how this feature works when done properly for comics, please let me know and i will try my best to amend this issue. the idea of making a secondary blog with detailed image descriptions isn't out of the question, but i'm not sure if i'll have the energy to maintain something like that.

pino's dialogue is the lightest standard color i'll make any dialogue. none of her dialogue is actual coherent language, so the readability of it isn't as crucial as it is for characters whose dialogue is words and sentences.
also, i'm not really sure when chapter 1 ends. 2bgfas might end up with 3 or 4 really long chapters :| i have particular story arcs (acts?) in mind but i don't know if i'll divide them up any more than that (though i can imagine doing so - but only if i get really long-winded about something. idk how to divide this first arc for example). and there's one arc that's kinda up in the air cuz i really don't want to fuck it up majorstyle if i do end up going that route, but without it i'm not sure how to transition from the second to the final arc. so. you know
the longer this goes on, the more inconsistencies between positioning and panels will show up. this is what i mean by this project not being serious. characters can and will teleport because my memory sucks. they dont actually possess such talents as in-universe skills; i'm just an idiot. OK

after the next page goes up, i hope to make the panels and text bigger on future pages. beyond being a pain to read, it's also a pain to write legibly. i wound up doing it unintentionally... but it doesn't need to continue.
hi, welcome to "2 blokes go for a swim", a comic that i may or may not ever finish but i want to give making it a go anyways. it's about 2 of my favorite (heroaca) characters in a world with mermaids - it's not that complicated. if it kinda sucks, that's okay. it's not meant to be a super serious project. (this is said in part because i hope not to raise expectations, but mostly because i need to keep my own standards in check. if i try to be super-duper clean nothing will ever get done.) that being said, linked here is a post regarding accessibility.
this post is liable to be updated with, uh, updates at any time.
