Paul photographed on either the 27th or 28th December, 1967, defending the Beatles’ Magical Mystery Tour which had been broadcast on BBC 1 on boxing day, 26th December 1967, in black and white. It’d been savaged by the critics. Paul also appeared on the Frost programme to discuss it on the 27th December 1967. In the bottom photo, Paul is photographed with his father, Jim McCartney.
