SWAGGER: swag·ger /swaɡər/: a very confident and typically arrogant or aggressive gait or manner.
As in, James Alexander Malcom Mackenzie Fraser has SWAGGER.
One of *the* first moments in the series that got everyone talking. As a lifelong equestrian I honestly *didn’t* know that was a legitimate way to dismount. But it’s IMPRESSIVE.
His kilt is on full display in all its glory and he’s a man on a mission.
He is Intense. Passionate. Intimidating. Aroused (there- I said it).
This Sassenach wee creature has popped into his life and he’s bewitched. So intrigued that he can barely fight a smile curling at the corners of his lips.
He loves her fight, her spirit. He sees an equal.

In this moment, he’s equal parts amused and impressed. And let’s be honest- so are we.
(@fuckyeahjamieandclaire I owe you a dram for this)
There are SO MANY incredible moments between Jamie and Claire and to me it all started with this one interaction- a challenge on both sides and neither willing to back down (until she literally backed down- but you ken fine my meaning, aye?)
I also couldn’t choose just one scene so I’m probably going to post another one. JUST BECAUSE I CAN.
