This episode should be called "And That Is Why I Hate Dating Apps." The idea had potential, but the writing just wasn’t great. In my opinion, it wasn’t executed well, and the ending felt rushed which has been a recurring problem with a lot of episodes over the last three seasons.

Still, there were some highlights.

I’m officially a fan of Bruno now. And this is just my opinion, so please don’t get offended, I'm just a silly girl, but I think he’s the first new character since Carisi who actually has a personality. To me, he’s like a mix between Carisi and Munch. I love that they’ve given him the whole “money thing” as a running bit for his character. I mean, Amaro was the hot headed detective, Rollins was the wild card, Carisi was the overeager “I can’t keep my mouth shut” detective, and since then we’ve had a string of detectives with nothing memorable. But now we have Bruno.

I’m loving all the Bruno + Carisi scenes, the bad cop and the sleazy lawyer.

I’m also glad they finally gave Velasco something important to do. He came from the Undercover Unit, and it was really sad that the show basically wasted that part of his background. And yet… once again, they did my boy dirty. On a shallow note, though, he looked so good in this episode.

Still no opinion on Silva, another wasted character. If they weren’t going to do anything with her, they should’ve saved the budget and used that money to give us more Bruno or Velasco episodes.

Also, what was with the lighting? I could barely see half their faces in all the interrogation room scenes.
