Have been to a bar yesterday. For the first time in two years. I drank beer. Still can't believe this happened.
Dreary sky. My head is full of sludge. The owl on the dashboard, green and plush, comes back to my mind. I had forgotten about it until now. Only Ghosts.
So I gave my dad that shit copy of Sonic 1 I had because fuck it I'd just given him a Mega Drive anyway, and then while I'm up here (my dad's, that is) I challenged myself to beat Sonic 1 before midnight, bearing in mind it was like 11:15pm by the time I decided I'd do this and I'm playing the PAL version of the game, i.e. it's running in 50hz lol.
Better yet, the game looked like this the entire time lol. The stretch is just what you'd expect from technologically unsavvy parents, but the colours looking like that I would later realise were because the scart cable wasn't properly plugged in lmao. Certainly a hell of a unique way to experience Sonic 1.
