[Maker Faire Hyderabad 2019 - 2/2] I attended my first Maker Faire event today, it was a wonderful experience. It's an event that celebrates technology, science, art and essentially, the spirit of building or creating things. I thought I'd just spend an hour or so there, but ended up spending the majority of the day! This was due to two reasons - firstly the company of @mangopenciler, @dear.artsie, @rad_art_1, @di.ne.sh, @vishnushankar, @tanvikadari, and secondly, the variety of creative things on display. Absolutely awed by some of the work that young people in school had done! I loved “John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum”! Here is the completed sketch I did yesterday. A scanned version along with a detailed review is posted on my art account @dailymoviesketch. Have you seen the movie? What did you think of it? Were you also annoyed by our censor board trimming a bit of the violence (fortunately only a bit) despite giving it an “A” rating? I personally can never understand this practice — if a movie is certified as being for Adults only, it should be screened completely uncut. Content advisory can be given, and then it’s up to the viewer to decide whether they want to watch it or not. When it comes to action movies, for me, typically, the more graphic violence they put in it, the better it is — in an artistic way, certainly none of it is meant to be taken seriously. Anyway I suppose things won’t change, we will have to wait for a digital or streaming release to see the bits they cut. I posted the cut report on my Stories. This shot was taken with my camera on tripod and timer, which is how I was able to get both my hands in the frame. Also, I got prints made of my John Wick 3 poster!
