As I was busy drawing other things during Limited Life, I never got to put in my piece for how to classify Martyn within the “sun, moon, and stars” victor analogy.
My suggestion is that keeping an analogy *clearly* meant for a group of three and trying to add a fourth thing that fits just as well was never going to work, and so I decided to do something else.
So here is my submission: I made them a time cycle, representing Day, Dusk, Night, and Dawn.
My reasoning is that the aesthetic works well, which is kind of all the reasoning we had for the sun, moon, stars analogy. Do with it what you will lmao, but the painting looks nice.
thinking about a limited life kid au where the whole game is just a REALLY intense game they made up that's kind of like capture the flag and mafia in one. every sunday their parents bring them to grian's house for a play date.
one week grian stayed up way past his bedtime the night before so he was practically falling asleep and they had to drag him around. another week cleo and pearl couldn't make it so they dragged gem and lizzie, who were on a walk together, into it.
everytime they get tagged or scrape their knee they lose an hour of playtime, and they gain half an hour when they tag someone. they have one of the parents choose a boogeyman each week.
the clockers are playing house on a bunch of rocks, the bad boys are on the back porch, the mean gills have claimed the pool, team ties has the swing set, and the nosy neighbors are by the bushes.
