as much as kihyun tried to avoid getting close to people in the past, all of his attempts were done in vain. it was like a gamble, win or lose- you get someone that sees past the facade and you get those that just want to destroy the first person they see. with hyojong, kihyunâs first thought was not a positive one. he didnât listen to much of the drama back in high school, but it was almost impossible to not hear about the male. he was in a sense wild, sex driven, and a complete opposite of himself; uniting those two together couldnât lead to something great. or so at least he thought so.
âyour destination will be on your right.â kihyun parks at the dark paradise parking lot, feeling slightly weird about being seen here. the guy is no saint, but heâs never had the need to visit a place like this. the computer is more than enough, you see. he looks around once he goes in, looking for the set of blonde hair heâs witnessed be done back at hyojongâs place one day. at the time, kihyun didnât have an opinion on it since heâs been thinking of changing his hair color as well, so he let the kid do it and to be honest, he likes it on him. it suited his style (whatever it was) and it seemed like the other was into it too, at least thatâs what he hoped. it was too late to stop him then anyways.
âyo, hyo!â he raises his voice in order to catch his friendâs attention from where he stood, but from the sudden jilt from the stage down towards one of the guests, he already knew it wasnât going to end well. kihyun moved as quick as he could, swerving through serves and intoxicated people, he finally reaches the other, face to face with the customer who stood up, slurs spitting from his mouth along with his saliva.Â
âhey, hyojong. stop. look at me.â he steps in in front of his friend, holding both of his shoulders. he pushes slightly frontward, pushing the other back, fighting the otherâs resistance. âdonât do this, not again. remember what the boss told you last time.â he looks back for a moment, still hearing the drunken customer yell at hyojong. âforget about him, okay. heâs not worth losing your job for.â his voice is as stern as the hold on the maleâs shoulders and his eyes unwavering from his friendâs. âletâs just go. the cars out front.â
