"Are you sure you want to do this, Miss B?" Her assistant looks at her worriedly and Bora holds on the letter she wrote not long after she and Byeol met once again. She wrote it honestly and poured her heart out, not considering any kind of misfortune to happen to them in the future. Sadly, they weren't the best when they were apart. They make poor choices and unkind decisions that hurt each other's hearts to the point of breaking the other completely when all they wanted was to fix each other. "Do you have any other suggestions that won't make him push me away?" She asked, taking a deep breath as she checks everything one last time before she heads out to greet him on his birthday. They pushed each other away and Bora didn't want to go on any longer. Hanbyeol was probably hurt with her saying those words that he asked her not to say anymore. Ever. Again. But she did, to push him away. Just how he pushed her away by letting her go. 

She was supposed to be somewhere else but here but her heart was stubborn. All she wants is for him to be happy on his birthday. Just for today, she'll be someone else. Someone who didn't hurt him. Someone who didn't walk away from him. Just ten minutes of his time is all she needs. Even lesser than that would be okay. As long as she would be able to deliver the three things to wish him a happy birthday. A hug, a cake and the letter she wrote after confessing her feelings. A letter she wrote to pour her heart out without considering all the other things that were going on then. When she had a clear mind. When she wasn't doubting her heart just yet. "He's with Wonshik, right?" She asks. The other female nods while they sit inside the large van. One would expect an idol to come out of such van but they're mistaken as the only person inside the said van is a designer, searching for her muse to greet him on this special day. 

It was hard to find a Molang mascot and Bora realized she would give it away easily if she came to him wearing a Molang mascot as he was the one who gave her a Molang as a gift. Thus, she ended up picking up Korilakkuma mascot suit after some research. Her personality is opposite of Rilakkuma's laid back personality, which she easily relates to Hanbyeol. Tying her hair up in a bun before wearing the head of the suit and getting out of the van. It was hard to walk and see but she was determined to get to Hanbyeol. He sits at the park with Wonshik and she waits till the other male leaves Hanbyeol. 

She waddles with the box of cake she made earlier that day and the letter sits inside the strawberry bag she was wearing. She knew he was allergic to strawberries too late and she gave up her favorite fruit because he's severely allergic to them. She waddles her way carefully (and cutely) towards him, careful not to drop the box of cake she worked so hard to bake for him. Standing before him, Bora's heart was ramming against her chest while she looks at Hanbyeol who is probably confused by being approached by a mascot in the middle of the park. She would cross her fingers to hope he doesn't find out that it is her underneath the suit but she's gripping on the box, holding it as safely as possible to deliver it to him properly.

The day has been long, the evening even longer. Yixing decided at least a few hours ago that he was going to get drunk - and so he has. By now he is on his way back home, properly measured strides taking him from the bar he’s been drinking at back to his own apartment building. Or so he thinks. He’s swaying more than he would if he were actually sober, and his steps are far from strides. More like a meagre attempt at movement. But he does make it home, eventually, even though it takes him several tries to open up the main door of the apartment building.

Before he can even turn towards his own apartment door, he spots a familiar figure further down the hallway. Instantly his attention turns to said figure, because he knows the male better than their very limited interactions would make anyone think. Not because the male is so well-known, but more because his little sister is infatuated with him. And if Bora likes something, it’s no surprise that Yixing knows about it, after all. But Yixing has been hearing about Bora’s high school crush for years and yet he still hasn’t heard the man’s title change to boyfriend in any of the tales he’d been told. Which is honestly a disgrace. Because if his little sister loves someone that much, there is no reason whatsoever for them to not love her back and make her happy, right? Right.

“Hey you,” he therefore states (exclaims, really, and rather loudly too). He remembers how his little sister would always call this man, something about the freckles on his face resembling the stars. “Modderfokking Starboy.” The tilted Korean holds a little too much of his Chinese accent as he speaks those words. His eyes take in the man as he heads over to him, swaying some more on the way but coming face to face with the tall male eventually. Well, face to chest, somewhat. Craning his neck, he looks up at the male and frowns lightly at him. He brings a hand up to point a blaming finger at the male’s face, dangerously close to his eye.

It felt a bit odd to politely ask customers to leave early before closing hours that one particular day, an apologetic smile on his lips as he sent away the last pair that definitely seemed to have a hard time separating from the chocolate brown poodle named Choco. The dog definitely had found a liking in them, but he sadly had to force them to a goodbye. Minhyun’s boss had left him in charge for today’s special guests; as ridiculous as that sounded, but that was exactly what he had called it. Some model apparently, who was supposed to have a photo shooting with the dogs in the cafe - and that was all the info he had received barely a week prior to today. “Because they are being taken good care of, they look healthy” Mr Park, the owner of the dog cafe, had told him when Minhyun had reacted with a sceptic look and the doubtful question why out of all places, it had to be theirs. “I’ll be in Busan that day, so I’m leaving you in charge.”

It wasn’t the first time he had taken responsibility, surely, but he would be lying if that hadn’t made him feel more important than some of the other workers - and maybe a little excited as well. Minhyun had been told to give a coupon to the customers that he had to send away, promising a free drink for when they come back next time. Also to clean up the place as soon as the last guest was out of the door, as if that wasn’t a matter of course, to leave a good impression and provide the best location for the supposedly very important photo shooting. “Maybe they’ll come back again” had been added thoughtfully, “and maybe we’ll become the next popular spot in Seoul!” Minhyun had quietly wondered why the Busan trip couldn’t be moved if this was so important for the old man, but had shrugged it off then and decided to not think about it that much longer.

He was given approximately an hour to clean up after everything; getting the floor clean, wiping the tables, fixing the pillows and washing the dishes was the least he should get done. And an hour was definitely more than enough time if it wasn’t for the curious dog noses who would inspect every move he made and poke at him whenever he crouched down, demanding for attention. Fixing a pillow on the floor always involved at least a good minute of petting, and the broom always turned out to be the most amazing prey to attack after a little while of moving it around. It was probably a hilarious sight, having a bunch of dogs wagging their tails excitedly as they walked after him cleaning up the place - and he wouldn’t be surprised if the sight had people stopping at the window before. Another few of the friendly pack were quietly watching his every move from a resting spot instead, probably unsure if they should continue being lazy or join the others; they got their pets anyway, so they usually stayed put. And in the end, he would always take a little longer either way.

To Whom It May Concern,

Or at least, that’s what I’m going with since I don’t even know who I’m writing to. I don’t even know why I’m doing this, if I’m honest. It seems like it would be fun though. 

We’ll see how it goes, I guess.

Anyway, I’m a student at Cheongnam High. That’s pretty much all I’m going to say about that because hey, what’s life without a little mystery? I have a small family, nothing to big and have always worked at living my life as best as I could without any worries.

But it’s always easier said than done, isn’t it? Life likes to throw a wrench into people’s plans now and again and of course, they did that with me. Oh well. At least I’m still here, right?

I’m someone that can talk a lot about a lot of things but situations like that only really happen in conversations so it’s a little difficult to say much right now, since it feels like it’s one sided.

Tell me about you! How old are you? What’s your favourite colour? What’s your favourite song? ...I guess you can just fill me in with a bunch of favourites, really. I guess I’m not even sure what to ask either. I think I’m coming off as a different person right now than the person I really am.

Or maybe this is also who I really am, but it’s just someone that doesn’t really show their face much, haha.

Anyways, I guess I should end it here for now but I look forward to hearing from the mysterious person on the other end.
