・→ The heavy breathing was enough to show his fatigue. Thick fingers curled into a tight fist. Back pressed to the wall to keep himself from the line of fire blazing past the doorway. Bringing his eyes away from the door, he settled on moving backwards for a position in the back to give him some kind of distance.
Fear settled in his chest. His heart banging itself against his ribs. Sweat beaded his forehead and he brought up his hands to slick off the sweat on him with a mumbled, “Блядь..” The curse did little to relieve him of stress, so he spat a few more to feel more satisfied.
His hands were tucked in front of his chest as the automatic fire blazing into the room still ricocheted back off the surface of the wall. The first mission he’d ever been thrown into and he’d been separated and cornered. He was absolutely terrified. Kliment may have had healing abilities, but a battlefield was never somewhere he’d been.
The anxitey buzzing through him kept him pressed to the wall. His stomach turned and his legs wobbled with fear. The tall man pushed his way passed the doorway and gave a whine as he was still very lost and now had no sight advantage on enemies.
