Yesterday SO and me went to see the new Star Wars. I lost my phone in the cinema. Well the old smart phone I'm using as a meds reminder and mp3 player.
I went there again today and searched around my seat. No luck. I talked with the manager several times. He said he didn't find my phone when I described it but said it in a way that indicated he had some other phone(s) that were found. He was busy so I waited an extra 20min just to nag about the phone a bit more, describing more details until he said, that the phone he had upstairs was a San Francisco something and I was like “THAT'S IT!”
When I described the phone I said the original name of it but orange rebranded it and sold it under a different name. I didn't realise the rebranded name was on the phone and that was why the manager thought he didn't have my phone when I asked the first time. I lost over an hour for the detour to the cinema but I'm so happy I stayed extra long to ask again. I have my precious photos back :3
It was all out of battery so I opened it to prove it's mine. My phone would have been without a SIM card. The manager didn't care for proof. He didn't seem annoyed by me, he had more of a “couldn't care less” attitude.
I'll write more tomorrow. I kinda wanna throw up currently, which is not the best state of mind (and body) to write long essays about doctor visits. I got a bucket ready, that I probably won't need and I'll try to sleep now. Bleh.
