Taco Ring 1½ lb lean ground beef 1 pkg taco seasoning 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1/3 cup water 2 pkg refrigerated crescent rolls 1 egg white, lightly beaten Optional toppings: salsa, shredded lettuce, chopped onion, tomato, and sour cream Equipment: Large round stone / pan Large sauce pan small bowl 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F 2. Brown ground beef then drain access grease. 3. Add taco seasoning and 1/3 cup water. Let simmer. If meat is dry add another 1/3 cup. 4. Mix 1 1/2 cups of the cheese with beef 5. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 16 triangles. 6. Arrange the triangles, slightly overlapping, in a circle on pan with the wide ends of the triangles overlapping in the center and points toward the outside. 7. Scoop meat mixture onto cresant roll dough filling evenly over the dough in a continuous circle. 8. Wrap the points of triangles up over the filling and tuck them under the dough at center to form a ring. (Filling will show.) 8. Brush the top with the whisked egg and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. 9. Bake 375° for 25–30 minutes or until it is golden brown. 10. Serve with toppings. Enjoy!
