🚶‍♂️ a habit-themed headcanon: I think Vash is the kind of guy to have all sorts of habits that others would deem strange. Half of it is related to being a Plant, and the other half is related to being alive for well over a century. I think if there's earlier versions of certain inventions, he still uses the early versions (this is a man who pours over his coffee because it's the only way he knows). I also think he's a nighttime wanderer, so sometimes you might wake up and see him staring with big, glassy, reflective eyes.

🤥 a lie-themed headcanon: I don't think Vash is all that good at lying outright. I think he's great at avoiding the truth, but straight-up lying? He fumbles over every word, usually ending up spurting out that he's lying by the end of his spiel. He has way too many tells (avoiding looking you in the eye, searching for an escape, this weird chittery noise in his throat, etc.) for him to be effective. He'd rather tell the painful truth than get wrapped up in a difficult lie.

💻 • This is a middle aged man who has spent the last 23 years in prison we're talking about. He doesn't know shit /affectionate. We're lucky that he figured out how to send a gif through private messages

🏮 • Not often. I mean, most of their money comes from the Speedwagon Foundation, and they don't feel comfortable using it to splurge on stuff that isn't a necessity. They did have a nice honeymoon trip, and a vacation to Athens, though

🎸 • NO ONE TALKS ABOUT THE FACT THAT WEATHER REPORT TAUGHT HIMSELF HOW TO PLAY THE PIANO NEARLY ENOUGH. WITH RAINDROPS, TOO. I know he's good at it. That scene in his introduction was beautiful, I love it so much.
