Clearly Mackie is my hero both off and on screen because he tries to help people wherever he is. He is using his platform wisely and is willing to risk possible backlash from his employers to bring truth to life.

But far more so, I look forward to the days when there are no bloodbaths in the streets. So I will always support the BLM movement so long as there are people in the world who disagree.

He got me choked up with his tears. Mackie is a good man. A good role model. A positive representation of black people. We need more good souls like him. He deserves to be Captain America so other people of color can look up to him.
