Yesterday when walking back to NAB I suddenly met that girl again. The surprise could not escape me, rendering me speechless at first. I just looked at her wondering why she was there, as if she came out of nowhere to give me a heart-attack. Somehow the question "Why are you coming back?" bursted into concrete sound. She heard it clearly. That was probably really rude. But she just smiled and quickly disappeared.

I engrossed myself with my project later, forgetting about that sudden encounter. All thoughts were subtle and reasons abstract. Her strange presence stirred up something old but not nostalgic. There was something, I believe, left forgotten. Completely. As if it never existed. And somehow seeing her out of blue gave me little touch to it again...

I finished my project late again. Evacuating a deserted building was like leaving a one-person world. It was dark. I walked briskly towards the back gate but still managed to pay attention to a figure sitting on that cold porcelain seat situated outside NAB. Weirdly I knew it was her. I tried not to cause further disturbance, thinking so, I approached.

The moment when I passed by her. In a flash. There was a voice echoed. I knew it was hers. As though she noticed how close I was right behind her back. "Why do you come back?", that question was still evoked again in my thought.
"I have never ever left", she said.

For some reasons, I could even see her smiling faintly when answering me, even though she never turned back to face me.Â
With that dim smile embedded in my memory, what is reminiscent suddenly becomes surreal. And although she was the one coming back, she said to me, "Welcome back". Right at that moment, I knew I was crying...
