Q: In the most recent match, WE didnât have much of an advantage in the early game. However, after reaching mid game, you were able to easily take the lead. Is this a strategy you talked about before? If it isnât, were you nervous that you didnât get an early game lead?
Condi: We didnât have that strategy. It was really difficult to get the game going during early game. It wasnât until 20 minutes in were we able to take the opportunity to pull a lead.
Q: Mystic performed very well in the mid lane. Do you think itâs because your mentality is really great right now?
Mystic: I think this is within my normal performance, so I didnât think I performed that amazingly.
Q: Condi, can you rate your opponentâs strength?
Condi: I think our opponents were pretty strong. In this game, I think our opponents were one of the stable ones. They utilize team fights to try to win and played very steadily.
Q: There are people online who are saying that WE is always very stable during early game, whether they play against wild cards or SKT. During early games, you were always about 50/50 with your opponent, and sometimes even slightly on the disadvantaged side. What do you think about this?
Condi: Every team have moments when they are behind. That gap is because communication isnât good. Similarly, taking the lead usually means communication is well, or itâs because of a good team comp.
Q: When Mystic arrived, he had some health issues. Â How has he recovered?
Mystic: I didnât have too bad of a health problem, it was just slight discomfort. Right now, I donât have any problems.
Q: Your sister is in the audience watching the game. Mystic, how do you feel?
Mystic: I donât feel anything in particular. I just hope that I can continue playing into future rounds.
Q: In the documentary shown, the opponentâs jungler stated that Condi carries really hard. In the most recent match, how well did you think you carried?
Condi: I think I performed normal today. I donât think I carried too much. I was very baffled
Q: When you said âbafflingâ, does that mean there were a lot of mistakes during game?
Condi: I meant it as Iâm not exactly sure how we won.
Q: Which team do you think has the highest chance of stopping WE from coming out of groups as first? Why?
Condi: I think itâs probably TSM. I just saw their game. When they were at a disadvantage, they were able to make a come back. At the same time, they performed very well. I feel like they playing against them would be hard.
Q: So what is your rating on the FW vs TSM game?
Condi: I feel like theyâre all in a good condition. In terms of the play style, I canât make out too much of it right now. I could just tell that they went back and forth. They dealt their team fights very well.
Q: After playing this game, what do you think about the group stage? Do you think youâll be number one or number two in groups?
Condi: Right now, our goal is to be number one in groups. I have come confidence. Of course being number one is the best.

Q: You picked Ryze for the middle lane today. In during Worlds in 2016, you also picked Ryze but didnât perform well. Today, you chose Ryze again in your first game, is it to prove yourself?
Xiaohu: Not really, itâs that recently Ryze is suitable for this new patch. Itâs win rate is comparably high too.
Q: Today, before the game, there was a documentary film to mobilize the female fans, what do you want to say to these fans?
Xiaohu: Thank you for your continued support
Q: During the play-in stage, FB fought its way through the group stage fiercely. After the game today, what did you think about the team?
UZI: They played alright. Itâs probably because their team doesnât have enough experience, and most of the team are also new members. Thus, they had a few errors.
Q: In this group stage, which teams do you think are the strongest?
UZI: Samsung and G2 are the strongest.
Q: Do you have the confidence that youâll make it to the next round as first place in your group?
UZI and Xiaohu: Yes!
Q: You participated in Worlds last year too. What do you think is the difference between last year and this year.
Xiaohu: Since China is our home territory and there are also a lot of fans in in the crowd, listening to their cheers helps us raise our morale. So weâre not as nervous.
Q: Rate your performance today.
Uzi: I think itâs 7 or 8. Although we played very well, I feel like we can still improve.
Q: Last yearâs MSI was probably your pinnacle. By the time it was Worlds, you didnât play as well. How does your attitude today compare with the past?
Xiaohu: I think this is normal for professional players. As time passes, my strength and my mentality will definitely improve and grow.
Q: Do you think youâve prepared yourself enough to be your best? If you think you havenât yet, when do you think youâll be able to achieve that?
Xiaohu: I think my mentality have been continuously improving. I donât think Iâve reached my peak yet, Iâve just been growing continuously.
Uzi: I think itâs been okay, Iâm growing slowly.
Q: Wuhan is pretty cold today. We saw that Xiaohu has a sweater but Uzi doesnât. Is it because you were really excited about the game?
UZI: Actually, I donât get cold easily, but today Iâm really cold (Laughs)
Q: On the Korean server, I saw that you played a few games with Aurelian Sol. Did you play Aurelian Sol because you saw FB play him during the Play In Stage?
XIaohu: Thatâs not the case. I wanted to try them, incase Iâm able to find a secret weapon.
Q: Youâre really good at AP champions, can you rank your top three?
Xiaohu: I like Orianna, Xerath and Ziggs
Q: What is your opinion on Season 8 preseason runes?
Xiaohu: When I saw this a month ago, it gave me a headache. If donât play well this year, and they change the runes next year, Iâm worried that Iâm going to suck really bad. Thatâs why I want to play well this year even more.
Q: For Uzi, are there any bot lane duos that you really want to play against?
Uzi: Samsungâs botlane! They seem very strong.
Q: What does RNG hope to accomplish during Worlds?
UZI: I hope to come out of groups in first place. But our group is really strong. G2 and SSG are really similar in their strength. Thatâs why we have a lot of pressure.
