On the last several visits to Death Valley, the road to this attraction has been closed. It is impossible to enter the Park from the Nevada side using the Bonnie Claire Road which passes the site, with no estimated date for repair of the road on the park website. Pedestrian access is also prohibited. Too bad, for the "castle" is rather whimsical, especially given the stark landscape in which it is embedded.

hey fun fact! a lot of people don’t like fanon bc fanon does a great disservice to marginalized characters (particularly poc, women, etc). often times fanon versions of those characters also means subconsciously projecting bigoted stereotypes on that character/flanderizing a particular part of the character while leaving all the complexity to the white male main characters
