The most popular posts from 2012
Hopefully you aren't too tired of year-end countdown lists yet, because I have one more for you. Here are the top five most popular blog posts on Adam Gets Around from this past year.
Coming in at number 5 is Chicago Man Weekend. This post recounted the events of my friend, Wes', bachelor party, and laid out the plans that anyone could use to have a fantastic weekend in Chicago.
Number 4 is a little post I wrote about Peapod grocery delivery. We get our groceries delivered, and in this post I explained how it works. I received quite a few hits from people searching for reviews of Peapod.
Rounding out number 3 is my post about going to Salt Lake City. Sarah and I took a trip to SLC in September, and for some reason, this three paragraph post announcing we were going became my third most-read post of the year.
Number 2 is a post I wrote about the megabus, titled Megabus the poor man's first class. This post became a hit because Megabus actually tweeted a link to it and reblogged the posting on their Tumblr.
And my most popular post from the entire year is my birthday post titled Happy Birthday to Me. Don't ask me why. I don't even provide any tips or advice. It's simply a post recounting the happenings of my 26th birthday. For some reason, it received the most hits, and I'm OK with that.
The top 5 searches that people used to find my blog were:
salt lake city
happy birthday to me tumblr (this might explain why my most popular blog post was most popular)
birthday tumblr
adam gets around, and
megabus horror stories
