Jack and Andy return home with Andy continuing with the snide remarks toward Robert and Jack harping on about what he said to Emily (‘have you been giving her cheek?’ 🤬) and she’d be good without the ‘backchat’ from him (GIVE ME STRENGTH). Robert’s had enough with the two and gives them both a few choice words. Alone in their room, the boys have it out, getting into a scuffle, and Robert gets the wrong end of the stick in the end as Andy admits to starting the fire.

Robert: Hearing about it. Living on it. Always going on about it! I’ve had enough!

Andy: Why can’t you just think of something else for a change other than yourself, eh? You’re just a smarmy, self-centered little creep and I don’t know why dad bothers with ya. You useless git. (YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT YOURSELF ANDY NOT ROBERT!)

Robert: Eh! When people start to care about me, all of ya, instead of just shutting me out of everything that’s going on. Then I’ll start to care about you, alright?

So, we’ve come to the first of the last two episodes for Christopher!Robert. Jack gets Emily’s support (as she’s part of his work force) about sticking with the farm. As Jack dishes out a to do list on the farm, Robert is more interested in working on his school essay. Andy is in fine form calling Robert names left and right (basically being absolutely horrible towards him 🤬). Emily and Robert have a heart to heart about farming and family. Jack only seems to be concerned about Robert giving Emily lip than his state of mind 🤬.

Emily: It’s not just about farming, Robert. It’s about your family needing ya. Sticking together.

Robert: Try telling them that. I’m only part of this family when it suits them. The rest of time they just ignore me, Andy and me dad. You don’t know.

Emily: There’s nobody that cares about you more than your dad.

Robert: Oh, and you know that, do ya?! So why you here instead of him?
