Ambitious debut that's too long, has uneven acting, and crucially, lacks tension. However, ending excellent and (filmmaking) potential present throughout.

Summary: The Cannon family is devastated when middle child Katie (Natalie Grace) is kidnapped. Eight years later, she reappears and they are overjoyed... until they bring her home and realise too late that something is very wrong with her.

Good news: recognisably Lee Cronin film (less child hatred). Bad news: touch too long, tonally inconsistent, and ending that feels too neat.

Alright January horror with interesting motif. Stupidity of character’s decisions sometimes too much to ignore. CGI fire also VERY obvious.
