#2.1 update

2.1 is officially the best update ever.

first, I like aventurine so much more than I originally anticipated. that poor man needs a hug. I really like the parallels between sunday and aventurine though. they’re such interesting people. I want to study them under a microscope

gallagher being the killer?? the way he talked about mikhail was interesting because I was like… how does he know this? I want to know MORE. sunday, you genius. it’s also very interesting because gallagher is an abundance character, so the juxtaposition of him being the killer and following the path of abundance is really interesting

that scene with acheron drawing her sword… she’s so hot. I love her

my jaw dropped during the cutscene before and after the aventurine fight. even though it took me four tries to beat him, I really liked the gimmick. I was like of COURSE he’s gambling in the middle of battle

penpal: the special program for 2.1 is finally out so here are the highlights in what to expect on the next update!

new archon quest (chapter 2: act 3)

new islands including: watatsumi island and seirai island (with brand new world quests)

new bosses including: electronid (electro oceanid), hydro hypostasis, and la signora as weekly boss !

moonchase festival + upcoming event (with a free claymore sword as reward and a change in liyue’s appearance)

new 5* weapons: engulfing lightning (polearm) and everlasting moonlight (catalyst)

two limited banners coming up: with raiden shogun and kujou sara being first followed by sangonomiya kokomi

free 5* character: aloy! (ps4 players will receive her in 2.1 while mobile/pc/etc. will receive her in another update)

new fishing system: you can get the chance to fish with unique fishes to catch

new fishing system in serenitea pot

new events including: spectral event, lunar realm, and hyakunin ikki (with trial characters including xiao, tartaglia, etc.!)

scaramouche and la signora will make an appearance in the archon quest!
