From his open mouth escapes a pitiful whimper the darkness refuses to swallow, instead surrounding him in mocking echos of painful desperation.

“Jesus Christ!” Louis yells as he jumps back in reaction to Harry once again popping up out of nowhere.

Harry doesn’t even flinch.

“Quite the opposite.” He jokes, holding out one of the drinks for Louis to take. A freshly sizzling vodka Red Bull; his favorite.

Louis’s initial reaction is the thought you remembered.

His rational brain says, “No thanks.”

“Louis.” Harry says it like a concerned parent, the tone of it matching the way his mum used to say Boo Bear, you have to eat your vegetables to grow up big and strong, and that ignites something feral within him.

“Satan.” He counters, same tone coupled with a glare and a pair of arms crossed over his chest.

The velvet curtains part, revealing a man with a piano and nothing else. He’s wearing tight red leather pants, a red tie around his neck and no shirt. He must have shimmer on his torso because it glitters in the light. His fingers move across the keys and he begins to sing.

“Tonight, I’m gonna have myself a real good time. I feel alive...and the world I’ll turn it inside out- yeah. And floating around in ecstasy. So, don’t stop me now, don’t stop me...”

When he sings the line “I wanna make a supersonic man out of you” time slows down as Louis moves his head and his eyes land on Harry. Harry’s throat tightens, holding his breath as he gets a closer look at the most gorgeous cerulean blue eyes he’s ever seen. He’s got eyeliner that only enhances them, and it takes Harry’s breath away. Every word that spills out of Louis’ luscious pink lips is like he’s singing it to Harry’s soul.

That’s the moment that Louis takes a hold of Harry’s heart.

“Harry?” Niall said looking suspiciously at his friend “What have you done?”

Harry stopped moving and closed his eyes while he played with his hair. The day had turned out in a completely different way than he has planned. He had been dreaming of the moment he would see him again but not in a million years he thought it would be today. He was still nervous thinking about it.

“I don't know” He murmured quietly “I wasn't thinking”.

“Yeah, I can see that...” Harry took a glance at the room where all his problems lied, it was a beautiful room and his flowers were dazzling the guests, particulary one. The only one that mattered for him.

“So, do you have a plan?” Niall asked following Harry's eyes. His eyes were settled on a man who was standing near some of the important guests, he was talking eloquently and with such a passion that you could see it in his blue eyes the brightness with every word he pronounced.

“Yes, I have one” He muttered “Only never thought I would be able to do it”.

“But have you two talked?”

“Yes, it went perfect, I have a date with Louis Tomlinson tomorrow”.

“Oh my...” were the only words that escaped Niall's lips.

Or Harry, 5 and Louis, 7 were best friends since they met in the orphanage, they played together, they stole cookies from the kitchen and in the stormy nights they sleept cuddling in Louis' bed. Everything was fine until one day Louis was adopted and he disappeared from Harry's life. Twenty years later, they'd meet again at a charity gala and their world would shake with memories, suffering, revenge but above all with love, a love so intense that nothing else will make sense without it. 

Ft. Harry as a lovely florist, Louis as a french socialite, Liam as Harry's best friend, Niall as Harry's best friend and a event planner and Zayn as Louis' best friend and partner in crime.
