Dr Stone episode 7 was great, as this show always is. Turns out there’s already a somewhat established society existing in this world, albeit a super primitive one. Sans this one dude called Chrome who has some decent science, but he thinks it’s sorcery, but he’s cool with it. Of course, Senku’s way smarter and is able to call him out on what he’s doing, and the two kind of bond and stuff. Chrome actually cries when he’s told about the world 3700 years ago, which is the sign of a real big science nerd, sad at all that technology lost. He’s cool, already a fan. Also his seiyuu is only 17 years old and aside from voicing Lightning Genji earlier this year in One Punch Man season 2, this is his only role. Dude’s done pretty good though. Also Reina Ueda is voicing Kohaku’s sister let’s gooooooooooo. Anyway with this episode following Senku’s half of the story, I’m curious as to what sort of stuff we should expect if we’re gonna be cutting back to Taiju and Yuzuriha as spies. Or rather, what sort of format we should expect for the cutting back. I doubt they’ll do alternating episodes, but then they totally could, but maybe they’ll just kind of cut to them for parts of episodes? Or maybe it’ll be like, miniature arcs kind of, where we’ll cut between the two groups after a fair amount of episodes or something. I don’t know, we’ll find out.
