Good Morning, angels! ☀️ So for #MommyMonday, I thought I'd share a little something about this pregnancy with you guys. It's a lot! But I hope you enjoy :)) • So, I've had a lot of people asking for a "bump pic" and I've gone back and forth on whether or not I was even going to post any... But, here's my first one && here's why... • I had lost about 15lbs before I got pregnant. And despite my lifetimes worth of efforts to "stay active", eat healthy (which, I think I'm pretty decent at as it is) and the goal to one day be a #fitmom , within two months I had not only gained back what I worked so hard to lose but I gained 15 more on top of that. 😣 • My years and years worth of hard work to keep my stomach problems under control was finally WAY out of my control. It didn't matter how much I did or didn't eat, how active I tried to be or how intense the morning sickness was, I just kept growing. The bloat has been so uncomfortable, even painful at times, that I often just wanted to curl up in bed until it went away. So for months, I've looked much farther along than I actually am and it's made me incredibly insecure about myself. • I know I should be embracing it because "pregnancy is beautiful" and not everyone gets to experience this journey, and I'm growing a tiny human so it's okay to not be tiny or WHATEVER.. But this is MY journey && I'm choosing to share it with y'all. • I'm now two weeks into my second trimester and am FINALLY feeling my energy levels slowly coming back. I have a job that I'm enjoying and actually making money at.
