#13.14 #castiel #amazing. castiel determining donatello is 'dangerous' due to his perceived corruption and soullessness thus siding for killing him #and sam and dean telling him not to kill him which castiel didnt but did end his life as it was before (he's brain dead) which through #castiels hunting framed determination allows him the opportunity to make decisions about another beings life ('he was a danger to himself #to you and to all of humanity')the assignment of being 'dangerous' provides the one assigning the right to decide abt the value of that lif #also teehee at the irony of dean asking this question of course! (bc dean has no qualms about 'taking the right' himself)#also what constitutes ‘saving’ someone in this context of hunting? allowing him his freedom? restoring him before the demon tablet?#that castiel took the spell information from donatello and then discards him proves the weight of a life is being measured by its perceived #usefulness and inconvenience (as labeled by his being dangerous)
