the very first robron hug is so special. it’s so unexpected and unexpectedly tender. robert isn’t even trying to not hold aaron as close as possible to try and comfort him in any way he can and they’ve practically got their cheeks pressed together. it’s the first genuine gesture we get from robert that shows that it’s more than just sex for him, that he’s starting to care about aaron as a person and that his feelings are slowly changing from simple desire to something else.
