What a crazy week boxing. Not only did I get to watch a going pro boxer spar (which i can't wait to see how she does) but I found out that I'm about a month away from sparing myself (waiting on my ekg results because im a Masters.) I'm excited luckily a lot more than I'm nervous about it. It was my first day of level 2. I got there early and watched the level one class for a but before warming up. I feel so different about boxing now then I did then. I had a great time. I was able to use the body shield for the first time. So I got hit and threw punches that landed where they are actually supposed to. That is such a different feeling!! I didnt die!! There is always tomorrow!! What does a good Irish boy do to celebrate St Patties Day? Two hours of boxing of course. It was a great level 1 and level 2 class today! My favorite was doing offense/defense drills. I only got hit in the face about 5 times.. So what is worse than your first level 2 class?? Your first 1 on 1 as a level 2 student!! This where you stop getting told to move your head and keep you gaurd up and get dhown with a catch mit to the head!!
