Aaand we’ve already hit June with our little trip down memory lane in our #12MonthsOfPono 2014 flashback series!

This month, CNN named Pono one of the Top 10 Inventions of 2014, which coincided right with our transition from Kickstarter over to our current hub Ponomusic.com. 

Another big announcement came in June when we threw our support into #RainforestConnection, an incredible company that recycles cell-phones into autonomous, solar-powered listening devices. These devices monitor and pinpoint chainsaw activity at great distance, providing the data openly and freely to anyone around the world. Together, we can help end deforestation!

It’s time for the third flashback in our #12MonthsOfPono series: May 2014!

In May, Neil and Jack White recorded an album together that celebrated (perhaps surprisingly) the grittier, lo-fi sound of the past- the complete opposite of the #Hi-Def audio quality that we here at #Pono aim to bring you!

Also in May, #GratefulDead joined our Signature Series, our Pono engineers worked hard on designing the #PonoPlayer and #DigitalTrends called Pono “The Future of Music!”
