It was a good and very tiring weekend in our house. Lots of work was done on the nursery, mostly all by my husband. I did what I could here and there, but for the most part I took it easy. Sunday meant the usual meal planning and grocery shopping for me. I also made a very tasty pot roast for dinner.
By the end of the day Sunday, B had installed the new floor in the nursery as well as assembled the crib and dresser. Now I can finally get the gifts that have been arriving all in one place. So much adorable stuff is showing up! Iβll have to take some pics and post some of it here, too.
One other plus of having the nursery more established is that my home office, which was covered in boxes, is now accessible again. So today - Monday - I find myself working at a desk with a big olβ monitor instead of at kitchen island or on the couch and it is so refreshing. We managed to squeeze my desk into the spare bedroom. Itβs tight, but itβll work!
Super cute/funny side note: Casper was straight up sitting inside the crib when I woke up this morning and walked by the nursery. He was just sitting there staring at me. πΉ Once baby arrives, weβre gonna have to figure out a solution to keep him out.
