This is it.

This is the last day it happens. I could not be more happy with the results from this project. As I mentioned on my first post: “  I am doing this in a way to demonstrate to others (and myself) that I love each of my clothing items individually enough to wear them in any random pattern and that I am not dressing to impress, I am dressing because I love my clothes.”

This project has really taught me that I really do enjoy every single one of my pieces of clothing on their own and that I wear them because I love them and not because they “complete an outfit” or because they “only look good with this top or bottom”. This project also taught me about the attention that my beloved Joe has paid over all these years at my outfits, how I wear things, and how I love these things, individually. I truly want everyone to understand that I really don’t shop for clothes much, I could look into my closet and maybe just 10 pieces will be less than a year old (and this means even that I have OWNED THEM FOR ONE YEAR). Most of my clothing has been bought at thrift stores or resale stores, where they may have a history, where I know someone has enjoyed them before me and that I will love them just the same. Sometimes I don’t even try things on and I know they will work and I know I will love them. I have NEVER returned a clothing item and that is because I enjoy fashion in a sense of individual style, about how one should dress for themselves and for how they like it and what they like, not about how other people want to see you and what they like.

Yesterday’s outfit was the best, specially for the occasion. Everyone I know that saw me complimented me on it and mentioned something about how perfect for the day that we carve pumpkins and all!

It is such a shame that I cannot dress like it’s close to Halloween every day..( I mean I can and I do sometimes, I mean in a more literal way).

Today is the second to last day and all I have in my schedule is sit around on my day off, I was definitely looking for something more comfy yet still cool, duh.

He picked the outfit this morning as we got ready to go have brunch at Turtle Bread. 

I definitely love the slight 70′s vibe, clearly from my bell bottoms, and keeping summer alive with all the flowers and insects on my shirt. 

I can’t wait to see what the last outfit is going to be tomorrow.
