100 DOP - Day Forty Four
Hi guys!! After being sick for 4 days, I’m back with a vengeance, and being pretty productive in preparation for exams :D Today I:
Had a maths lesson first, where we did quickfire maths questions on topics which didn’t come up in the pure section of the papers we have to sit yet, in order to prepare ourselves for the upcoming paper on Wednesday
Went to the library to finish typing up my bio overview on species and taxonomy - for some reason I always get a bad back working over the library computers, so I think I must sit weirdly or smth idk XD
Then I went to the cafeteria for the last 45 minutes of that free and continued to work on some of the chapter 10 questions for bio we were set from the textbook
At lunch, I had a social equality union meeting, where we worked on the finer details of everything going on at the moment with getting new t-shirts and the next bake sale on induction day to raise money for our chosen charity
After lunch, I had another free and I continued to work on the chapter 10 questions until they were complete - it honestly took so long they were long answer questions with an obnoxious number of parts (one went up to part X what’s that about??)
Then I had a physics lesson and we went back over all of our magnetism topic in the form of revision questions, before getting signal generators and baked bean cans to make speakers - this was honestly so chilled and fun as we got to plug our phones in once our speakers were working and blast rudimental mixes into the physics lab (can u tell we’re very productive in our lessons?? XD)
After college I had a lot of work to do, so I started off by going to chapter 12 in the textbook for bio and answering those homework questions on required practical methods and results, which took about an hour and a half in total
Then, I wrote up some revision cards to accompany my bio overview, as I find it helpful to have sampling methods and equations written out on flashcards as they’re so easily accessible
Finally, I spent around an hour and a quarter making my equation sheet for bio - we were set this as a kind of revision activity, but like, a compulsory one, as it’s the required mathematical skills for bio that needed testing (I knew the majority of it from alevel maths anyway, but I wrote it down as a recall exercise if anything).
So yeah, today’s been uber busy with little time for chill; ordinarily I try to make room for an hour or so of relaxing per day at the Bare Minimum, but unfortunately today that just wasn’t possible. I hope you’re all coping well with exam season, and any exams are going well for you :D
