Earlier this week I got my first experience filming with a Phantom high speed camcorder, the model we were using filmed up to 10000 frames per second. When we first heard that we would be getting the opportunity to play with one of these exciting cameras for a couple of hours, the ideas started flying about of what we could do that would awesome in super slow motion, the only problem is most of just wanted to see people getting hit in the face with things. Eventually we decided that Aaron getting hit in the face with a haddock may be a bit excessive and messy, especially considering we would be filming inside a lecture theatre and the university cleaner's probably wouldn't approve of the fact we'd left a load of fish guts all over there previously clean carpet.
Anyway here is a few clips that we filmed on the camera that day.
