Pseudo-penannular brooch, 10-11thC

Copper alloy pseudo-penannular brooch; flat hexagonal section; cast opposed animal heads at centre of hoop; ring-and-dot, ribbed, punched and incised linear decoration; terminals cast as two profiled backward-biting animal heads

Viking arm-ring, 10-11thC

Annular gold arm-ring of three plain rods twisted together; each is broadest at the centre and tapers to ends which are encased in gold sheet, forming a faceted rectangular knob; a piece of gold wire was twisted round on either side, but one side only survives. The knob has four ring-stamps, one in each corner of a lozenge on each of its three outer faces. The ring is slightly distorted. The surface is worn and pitted, but there are traces of a couple of nicks.

Viking finger-ring, gold, 10-11thC

Gold penannular finger-ring formed from a single plain rod of circular section, tapering considerably to its terminals with flat ends, which are slightly overlapping.
