I'm glad I can still feel empathy after all this even with my mother and all she's done. I'm glad I can be calm when being shouted at or threatened or Hectored at my very stressful job that pays well. I will give my body time to recharge tomorrow night and exercise from Thursday onwards.
Day 2 of studies
6 September 2022
I have begun my second reference study - but unfortunately I started a little later than planned due to some adulting emergencies (car insurance... don’t ask!) But, I have been enjoying the work on this one. I’m trying to keep it minimal, but there’s a lot more detail in the frame around the windows in this one. I will continue tomorrow, and hopefully with the skills learnt from my first study, it will ooze gorgeous glowy atmosphere! So far, love the colours and really pleased with my rough sketch of the form. Needs some work, but fluidity is the key. Loosen those wrists!
