Today was all about getting started! It’s been a while since I’ve played Horse Isle 2 and I hardly remembered how much I missed it!

The first thing I set off to do is to finish the beginning quests from MrWelcomer and BeginnerBird. After I finished a few others and earned some money from working at City Hall, I adopted my very first horse from the livery stable!

I christened this beautiful boy Magellan after the famous adventurer Ferdinand Magellan. His description now reads as follows:

“Ferdinand Magellan was an avid dreamer. He dreamed of discovering a straight that would make it possible for sailors to circumnavigate the globe. This was achieved, but Magellan did not live to see it, instead he was killed in a battle in the Philippines with locals who did not approve of his missionary work in the region. Magellan’s dream of circumnavigating the globe is so fascinating, and, in a time when people still believed in sea monsters and the possibility of sailing right off the edge, we think his bravery is worthy of note.”
