Another update, obsessed with a new song from the 80s, made a big lasange, went out for a walk with my husband and dog and had a pub lunch after, like it was spring/summer again. Feeling optimistic generally. In bed early for an early start tomorrow hopefully. Had beer at lunch and fell asleep on the sofa with the dog, very cosy. And I didn't end up with a hangover, so I guess small amounts of beer with plenty of water and food is the way to go... Going to have to keep an eye on how I'm handling all the changes with work and lifestyle the next few weeks. I think not drinking during the week is a really good idea I should continue. I might need to drink for work, but that again can be managed carefully. I did some good walking Friday, Sat, and Sunday, which I'm proud of, considering I'm still getting over this cold/flu. I'm still very snuffy and coughy. Apparently I look much better though so that's good! Would be nice to get a bit of sun at some point, I'm feeling very pale these days.
