In the dream, K asks me to house sit for her. She passes me her keys and tells me that she’s living with a Puerto Rican guy. Doesn’t tell me where the apartment is or how to find this alleged Puerto Rican, she just bounces.

In the dream, I do the leg work. Part interneting, part amateur detective work. I find the Puerto Rican, and I find the apartment. In the house, K is already there -- this is after her trip, for some reason -- and I’m so mad. Mad not because she made me do all the work, but because all the work was unnecessary. She already had all the information in the beginning but just decided for whatever reason not to share it.

I didn’t realise it till I woke up -- at least not in those terms -- but that’s exactly how I feel about K in waking life. She knew. She always knew. But she never shared.

K* tells me about a dream she had where I was arguing with her about something, but instead of actually making my arguments, I was just pointing out how all the points she was making were actually supportive of my case. 

In waking life, I tell K that I think Aquaman is a stupid movie that not even a vampire with infinite time should waste time watching. She tells me that she enjoyed it (without mentioning whether or not she’s an actual vampire). But she did mention that Jason Momoa is hot. And I mentioned the Halo effect.

In her dream, we reached a literal fork in the road, and before we went our separate ways, we kissed.

I think that somewhere in her psyche, K believes that arguments should be between points and opinions, not people. And that at the end of the day, if you care about the person, the argument should always take a backseat to the care you have.

In waking life, I change the topic from Aquaman and tell K that I miss her, because somewhere in my psyche, I also believe that arguments should not be between people~.

*first K and second K are two completely different people.
