Octillery first grabs its opponents with its tentacles to immobilize them, then smashes them with its rock-hard head, but if the opponent is too strong them Octillery sticks out its mouth, spits out dark ink to blind its opponent, then runs away.

Octillery hide and sleep in rocky holes, spitting out ink before attacking whatever comes near, but often times they are simply pulling in stolen nesting materials from other Octillery for a nap.

The ink Octillery spit is special, as it contains a substance that dulls the sense of smell.

The ink Octillery spits is used in cooking quite often.
