"Stejně jako přirozeně plyne voda v řekách, i tak plyne stav naší existence v různých okamžicích a zanáší nás do nových míst, fyzicky i metaforicky - a právě takové plynutí stavu doneslo čtenáře až na tuto stránku. Následuje poslední část sbírky, která, jak si bystrý čtenář jistě povšimne, se značně liší od částí předchozích. Je to tím, že do tohoto díla ve skutečnosti vlastně ani nepatří; není znamením času. Jistě by bylo naprosto pochopitelné, kdyby se čtenář v tuto chvíli cítil jaksi oklamán či podveden, nebo takovým zvláštním způsobem zrazen; mohl by se ptát: proč sem básník tuto část vůbec dává, když sem ve skutečnosti nepatří? A proč to vůbec zmiňuje? Nebylo by pro všechny jednodušší, kdyby předstíral, jakože nic? Jsou to správné a spravedlivé otázky. Nicméně není úkolem ani povinností básníka obhajovat svá rozhodnutí, proto tyto dotazy nyní ponecháme nezodpovězené a pomalu, ale jistě, obrátíme svou pozornost k poslednímu bodu programu, k samotné poslední části sbírky Znamení časů, k té části, která do této sbírky nepatří.

Závěrem, než takto učiníme, bychom tímto rádi vyjádřili vřelý dík Nikole Kobníčkové, jíž je Šedá věnována.

Been getting a lot of dreams lately, which is weird bc I never had them for the past 10 years save for like maybe less than 7.

Anyway, the dream I had a few weeks ago was pretty short and weird and I kinda could tell when it was a dream but I didn't react as much. Basically, there were two dead people, and there was this little girl who I assume was the daughter. A couple of people came to investigate, including me and Seiki (not sure about anyone else because they didn't spoke so I couldn't remember).

Anw, when the group went in to investigate, the bodies suddenly turned to dust and we put them in small little glass boxes with labels for their names ig, but the boxes didn't had a lid. I was holding the tray that contained their ashes when I had a weird and terrible idea. I leaned in over to talk to Seiki and I told him "Horrible Idea: We put tape over the ashes and they get stuck on the adhesive." Seiki just looks at me with a confused and horrified look and chuckles a little bit before saying "Terrible. Truly."

After that, the dream shifted into something else entirely that really isn't noteworthy.
