Can only evolve into Poliwrath with a Water Stone, can only evolve into Politoed if it holds a Kings Rock for long enough.

Poliwhirl is capable of living in or out of water, but they prefer to live underwater where there is less danger.
When on land, Poliwhirl sweats a slimy mucus to keep moist, but if it's too hot it dries out, so be sure to keep and eye on your Poliwhirl and moisturize it when needed.
Poliwhirl's spiral pattern on its belly undulates, causing those who look at it to become drowsy.
Because Poliwhirl's body is always moist from its sweat, it can easily slip and slide out of an enemy's grasp in battle.
Poliwhirl comes to land to eat Bug Pokemon, but prefers to stay underwater and munch on fish Pokemon.
