Rec: The emotional and sensory detail in this story is exquisite and the author has taken so much care in showing us Margarita's life since canon ended. Her struggles, her growth. How she's kept herself going amidst her loss. Surviving is hard. It's an entire novel's worth of characterization in less than 4k and written with lovely imagery. The story takes place at Belletyn and implies that it also happens at Samhain and I am glad that Margarita has these times to meet with Tissaia.

There's this perfect combination of hurt with the angst of grief and loneliness. Tissaia is gone and Margarita misses her, but the comfort is the softest, most emotional smut you will ever find. This story haunting, but it's also an incredibly sweet portrayal of Margarita and Tissaia's love. It's beautiful and enduring.

Lance works at a coffee shop and he likes his job. That is, until his new coworker arrives: actual human nightmare Keith Kogane.

(And if anyone asks Lance whether he's attracted to said coworker, well that's between him and his own fantasies, thank you very much).

OR: Lance and Keith fight constantly and honestly, Lance just really wants to punch Keith. Or make out with him aggressively. Whichever comes first.

In which Lance experiences a delayed puberty, and everyone is oblivious except Pidge.

Keith's new boyfriend is a little over-the-top on social media, but he's pretty sure he actually likes it. A lot.

To Lance his birthday was bittersweet, always the mark of the end of summer and the beginning of a new school year. Only this time, it was his last summer and that meant that everything was changing. The stress of the end of childhood and the expectations of his future weighed heavily on his shoulders. Now, he was losing his friend too, but with every end a new beginning is born.
