Jan. Sphere Eval - Be Myself
this month's evaluation was a simple one but one of the one's she enjoyed the most.
she was always nervous when it came to performing, something she had been working on. but it helped when she could actually enjoy what they'd be performing. the song sphere gave them was some what surprising. even if she had no idea of what sphere what debut them with, she expected something cute. so she expected, well cuter songs. that wasn't to say they'd debut with be myself but..it'd be horrible for them to tease her with this sort of sound.
it wasn't even the lyrics she that really sold it, just the sound of the song was good.
one thought did hit her when it came time for them to perform. she'd start the song off, that was enough to play on her nerves but she had to push through it.

and it comes out well enough, right after she closed her eyes for a second. trying to center herself, at least minhee was next to her. it helped her slowly find a way to focus on the groove of the song. the thing she enjoyed so much.

and it works, it works really well. when she opened her eyes, jihyo was a little more at ease. a little bit of confidence managed to work it's way in and she found herself standing a little taller. not as stiff when it wasn't her part, all she had to do was allow herself to have a little fun with.
Be myself be myself be myself
on top of remembering to interact with her members. the song wasn't a ballad so they could look at each other more. act as if this was a real performance. focusing on making sure she blended well enough with the group. but the singing, that was the easy part for her. it was everything else that got in the way, especially when she couldn't dance. her body wasn't sure what to do.
when it ended, jihyo bowed and followed the others out, finally allowing herself a moment to relax.
